Sept 5, 2008: We went to UC Davis
for the White Coat Ceremony, where the incoming
class of Vet students "officially" joins the
program. After a week of orientation, they're
marched across a stage, where each one is introduced
to the audience (name, hometown, area of specialty,
etc.), and then they get to put on their white lab
coat.
Great speeches, lots of proud parents and
families, amazing tour of the state-of-the-art
facility. Oh yeah, and it was 100 degrees plus (at
5pm!) but not one of the 131 students complained,
after all of the work to get to this point!
